Jimmy Smagula Headed to Broadway's The Little Mermaid

Jimmy Smagula has signed on for an eight-week stint as Chef Louis in the Broadway production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid, subbing for Robert Creighton from March 10 through May 3. The musical continues its run at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, directed by Francesca Zambello.

Smagula is currently appearing as Piangi in the Los Angeles production of The Phantom of the Opera and played Rocky in the Encores! 2008 summer production of Damn Yankees. His Broadway credits include To Be or Not To Be, Man of La Mancha, The Full Monty and The Phantom of the Opera.

The cast of The Little Mermaid currently includes Sierra Boggess as Ariel, Heidi Blickenstaff as Ursula, Sean Palmer and Eric, Norm Lewis as King Triton and Rogelio Douglas Jr. as Sebastian.
